This is the standard 26-week membership share. This share contains 6 to 10 items each week, depending on the season and availability. The amount is enough to feed a family of three to four for a week. 26 weeks. Golden Earthworm Farm is teaming up with Briermere Farms to offer a non-organic, yet responsibly grown, minimally treated fruit share. Beginning in July, the fruit share includes blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, peaches, apples, and possibly apricots, plums and nectarines. (Fruit share is available without the vegetable share.) 16+ weeks, plus 3 weeks of strawberries
We will have 50 shares available this year. One twenty pound box of plum tomatoes during late August/ early September (date TBD). These plum tomatoes are intended for canning or freezing. There will be a wide variety of herbs, including basil (thai and purple), parsley, dill, cilantro, mint, rosemary, thyme, oregano, sage, chives, garlic chives, tarragon and lavender. We'll include 2 types of herbs per delivery except for a few deliveries where we'll only include green basil for making pesto. 12 weeks. Approximately 6-8 heads each the first week of August, September and October. 3 deliveries. Farm Spot is committed to making our CSA financially accessible to our neighbors, and we are once again able to offer 15 subsidized shares for the upcoming season. Income verification is on the honor system - we won't ask for proof of your income. These are our general discounted share income guidelines, taken from the Self-Sufficiency Standard for the City of New York, and are newly updated for the 2010 season. 26 weeks season=$325 (a $225 discount from our full-priced share).
If you can’t pay the full amount upfront, we ask for a $50 deposit during registration and post dated checks due by the end of May for the balance, which can be divided over the 6 months of the share season (June-November).
