The Glynwood Grains and Staples, is dedicated to revitalizing our regional food system by returning grains and staples to their foundational role. Our program builds on the progress of the local foods community over the past decades, focusing on enhancing the Northeast’s capacity to produce, process, and market staple foods (grains, beans, corn, rice). We are committed to creating valuable programming that fosters skill development while encouraging the integration of local staple foods into our regional cuisine.
Through our Grains & Staples Pop-up, our main goal is to provide consumers’ access to a diverse array of freshly milled flours, whole grains, beans, and legumes from small farms in New York State and the greater Northeast to bolster local agriculture and inspire culinary creativity.
